Your own homepage doesn't rank for your own name

This review is about what your website brings in, and what stops it. We went through the site, your search rankings and your reviews. The main finding: the word "Revamp" ranks on Google, but from your FAQs page, your services page and your about page, never from your homepage. "Solar panels kildare" is the only search your homepage appears for at all, 29th, page three. The site never gave Google a page list to check, and no page on the site has a heading. There are smaller things too. Your real 5-star reviews never reach anyone who hasn't already found the site. It's all detailed below, with what to do about each one.

01 The rankings

Your own name is split four ways, and never from the homepage

The site appears for two real searches: "Revamp" and "solar panels kildare". "Revamp" gets 390 searches a month, and four different pages on your own site compete for it, your FAQs page, your services page and your about page twice. None of them is the homepage, and none cracks the top 10. "Solar panels kildare" is 110 searches a month, and it's the only search your homepage appears for anywhere, at 29th.

That's one real search for your own name, worth 390 a month, split across four of your own pages instead of winning with one. And it's one real search for solar, worth 110 a month, sitting on page three. Between them, the site brings in a single visit.

Bottom line: Four of your own pages are competing with each other for your name. None of them is winning.
02 The visitors you already get

Four things holding the numbers down

Real reviews, a real named owner, and real customers on camera. The problems are all in what the site tells Google, not in the work itself.

Missing
No page on the site has a heading
Every page checked came back with no main heading at all. That's the single strongest signal a page gives Google about what it's about, and right now every page on the site is sending none.
Missing
The homepage has no description for Google
The text that should appear under your name in search results is empty. Google writes its own instead, and it isn't guaranteed to mention solar, Kildare, or your 5-star rating.
Missing
Google was never given a list of your pages
There's no sitemap on the site, the file that normally tells Google every page that exists so it can check them regularly. Without it, Google has to discover pages by chance, and it's clearly missing most of them.
Hidden
Your reviews only reach people who already found you
5.0 stars from 28 reviews, with named customers and Padraic named directly in several of them, is genuinely strong proof. It's on the homepage for anyone who arrives, but it never reaches Google's own listing for your business, so it does nothing for the people who haven't found you yet.
One more thing nobody has flagged

"1000+ units of free energy produced each month" is a genuinely good, specific claim, the kind of real number most installer sites don't bother to state. It currently sits below the reviews carousel, past the point most visitors scroll to.

Worth noticing

This isn't a case of a few missing pages. No heading anywhere, no meta description, no sitemap, these are the basic pieces Google needs and none of them are in place. At that point it's worth pricing both options: patch the current site piece by piece, or build it once, properly, from the ground up.

Bottom line: The proof is real. Google was never told where to find it.
03 Done for you

The fixes, already written out

Each fix below is ready to hand to whoever manages the site.

Fix 1 · New text for your Google listing
The homepage has no description set today, so this is Google's own best guess next to what the listing should actually say.
What Google shows now

Revamp – Solar | Electrical | Renovation
(no description set, Google improvises one from the page)
What it should show
https://revamp.ie
Solar Panel Installers Kildare | Revamp
Solar PV installation across Kildare. 5.0 stars from 28 Google reviews. Over 1,000 units of free energy produced for customers every month.
Fix 2 · Give Google the basics it's missing
Each of these is a piece every working website has, and this one doesn't. Ordered by how much it currently costs you.
Add a sitemap , so Google has a full list of your pages instead of finding them by chance
Add a main heading to the homepage , naming solar and Kildare
Add a main heading to every other page , faqs, services, about, contact
Write a homepage description , currently empty, Google is guessing
Fix 3 · Put your review record where Google can use it
The reviews are already real and already on the homepage. This is about making sure the number itself, not just the carousel, reaches the people who haven't found the site yet.
Put "5.0 stars from 28 Google reviews" in your Google listing description , from Fix 1
Move the "1,000+ units of free energy" line above the fold , it's currently below the reviews carousel

the foundational work
Consolidate the four "revamp" pages into one clear structure. One page owns the brand search, the others stop competing with it.
half day
Build a solar panels Kildare page with real content. The homepage is thin on this today.

Price both options. With no headings, no sitemap and no meta description anywhere on the site, decide between patching each of these in one at a time, or building the site once with all of it in place from the start.

05 What it adds up to

Run your own numbers on it

Those two searches add up to

500 searches every month, between your own name and solar panels kildare.

Around 1 visit a month currently arrives from either of them.

Zero confirmed top-10 rankings anywhere on the report.

500 real searches a month, and the site currently catches one visit from all of them combined. Once the basics are in place, headings, a sitemap, one page owning your name instead of four competing, that gap is what starts closing. You know what a job is worth to you and how many enquiries you need to fill a week. That's the sum worth doing on your side.

Bottom line: Right now Google adds almost nothing. The floor is one visit a month.
Why sooner beats later

Every month the site runs without a sitemap or headings is a month Google has less reason to check it regularly. Competitors with basic technical setup in place are collecting the Kildare searches you're currently invisible for.
